Lucy's on her lunchbreak when she tries her very first scratchcard - quickly, she's connected. She's never had an interest in betting before, however after a couple of months the glove compartment of her car has lots of scratchcards. And then she starts betting online ...


Lucy's taking a medication called Aripiprazole for her mental health condition. It's a partial dopamine agonist - a various mechanism to the dopamine agonist substance abuse for Parkinson's and Restless Legs Syndrome that we have actually found out about in previous episodes.


But it's got similar adverse effects. For Lucy, this indicates compulsive eating, hypersexuality - and a gambling problem that's spiralling out of control.
